Scope of Policy 

This Privacy Policy, effective as of October 4, 2019, covers the use of the web site located at archambaultconsulting.com (“Website”) and the services provided by Archambault Consulting, LLC ("Company" or “We”), including how We treat personal information that We collect and receive. Pursuant to Company’s Terms of Use, you must be 18 years and older to use this site or have permission from a legal guardian.  Therefore, this policy makes no provision for individuals under 18 years old. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Company does not own or control, or individuals that Company does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and How it is Used

We will not sell or disclose your name or email address to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information when you register to use Company services or to post content on Website. Such personal information may include your billing address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request. This data is only used in the aggregate.

The Company’s course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). Thinkific provides us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product and services to you.

Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. Thinkific stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

We use information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting.  IP addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page.  Your IP address is stored in Company's user registration databases when you register with Company.  IP addresses may be used for various research purposes.

We may use web analysis tools that are built into the Website to measure and collect anonymous session information. 

Service-Related Announcements

We will send you a welcome/confirmation email when you sign up for Company's services. Receipt of this email is required for using Company’s services.

We will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. You may not opt-out of service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account by emailing Company at [email protected] from the email address you signed up with.

Administrative Messages

We may periodically email you with administrative messages, including: emails about the Website and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion

We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Your information may be combined with information We collect from other companies and may be used to improve and personalize services, content, and advertising.  If you do not wish to receive administrative messages or participate in these programs, simply opt-out by emailing Company at [email protected] .Please note that if you do not wish to receive administrative messages from Company, those notices will still govern your use of Website and service, and you are responsible for reviewing such notices for changes.

We may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate Company’s Terms of Use.

We will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with nonaffiliated parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy to provide products or services you have requested or when We have your permission.  It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Company's Terms of Use, as specified in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by law. In some cases, We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. We will transfer information about you if Company is acquired by or merged with another company. If you disclose your information to others, whether they are Students or Subscribers of Company or throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. We do not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. Company is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from Website. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others. Third parties may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or Company. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Editing and Deleting Account Information

You can change your Company account information (except your username), at any time. You can delete your Company account by emailing Company at [email protected]. Please note that your identification, billing, and contact information may remain in Company’s records for some period.  In any event, We will respond to your request to delete your account within ten (10) to twenty (20) business days. 

Your Company account information is password-protected.  You will need your password to edit and delete your account information. 

Payment

If you make a purchase on Website, We use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. Your Company account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer.  When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) for registration, We encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and store it with a AES-256 encryption. We follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
